Dobel’s Cento passed his stallion performance test in Marbach in 1992, with absolutely top scores. His talent for jumping became apparent at an early stage. At the age of seven , he won his first international advanced class show jumping events under Otto Becker. The pair was part of the German Olympic team in Sydney in 2000 and in 2001. They won the Aix-la-Chapelle Grand Prix. This was followed in 2002, by their win in the World Cup finals in Leipzig. Cento and Otto Becker are currently mainstays of the German championship team. One stallion by Cento became the top auction lot in Marbach and numerous progeny made their way into international competition sports stables. His offspring enrich the German show jumping championships in Warendorf each year. Many of them are already enjoying successes in the advanced class.
Two sons, Cenato and Centesimo have been approved. (Click here for Video)

Grand Sire
Capitol I
Holsteiner
Born: 1979, 1.7m
 |
Capitol I, is one of the most important producers of top Holsteiner show jumping horses. He descends from one of the best dam lines in Holstein. Licensed in 1977 in Neumunster, Capitol I began his breeding career in Ostholstein, later moving on to Dithmarschen. In 1978 the stallion, owned by the Holsteiner Verband, gathered a 82.56 point score in his stallion performance test in Medingen. A large crop of his offspring became highly successful in sport and breeding. Famous names like Calato, Campesino, Carolus I and II, Nissan Carthago Z, Cassini, Colino, and Cento continued their sire's legacy in show jumping. In Belgium the Capitol I descendant Canadian River is making headlines, while Indoctro is his most famous son in The Netherlands.
Capitol's pedigree combines strong performance breeding lines. On his mother's side, the mare Rappel (breeding line 173) stems from the one of the most influential bloodlines in the last decade in the Schleswig Holstein region of Germany. Romanus by Ramzes and Capitol by Capitano are just two of the big names, which go back to Rappel, the Heinzelmann daughter.
Capitol I belongs to the most influential jumping horse producers of the past decade. This is confirmed by his 40 approved stallion sons.

Dam Sire
Landgraf I
Holsteiner

A tribute to one of the great
Sires of Holstein
Foaled 1966, breeder: Graf von Kielmansegg, height 16.3 hh
Died May 10, 1996 |
Born in 1966, Landgraf I is the son of, Ladykiller XX, who produced Lord, another of the most influential stallions in Holstein. Landgraf had a very good temperament which he passes on, together with excellent movement. His dam, Warthburg, came from the stamm No. 275 and accumulates the performance genes of Ethelbert, Aehill and Cicero, who are responsible for laying the foundation of the Holsteiner Sporthorse as the world's leading jumping stud book. Landgraf was licensed in 1968 along with twelve other sons of Ladykiller
Nearly sixty colts by Landgraf have been licenced for the Holsteiner stud book, like the champion of 1991, Linaro, and the dressage talent, Loutano. Some of his sons have already achieved top positions as performance sires, for example, Letus II, a jumping sire, and the versatile Landadel, who produced three champion stallions for the Oldenburger breed alone, and also the outstanding international show jumper, Le Cou Cou, a licenced stallion.
So far, 340 broodmares by Landgraf I are registered in the Holsteiner stud book, 260 of these are in the Head Stud Book, 70 have been awarded the State Premium, and a considerable number have been champion mares at shows. Landgraf I was a legend already during his life time. Landgraf is far and away the most important jumper sire in the world!"
